About this event
Meri Yaadain CiC are a community interest company working to challenge inequalities surrounding dementia in Black Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities.
This is an opportunity to come along, listen to a few experts on the subject of dementia in BAME communities. An opportunity for professionals and practitioners working in the field of dementia / dementia services / research to have a constructive dialogue with BAME community members. Having meaningful engagement should result in tangible action planning for service commissioners and providers, whilst building trust in and with communities.
It is also an opportunity for the BAME community to come along and hear the issues pertinent to their communities, to challenge stigma and breakdown myths surrounding dementia and dementia care.
Come along and get involved.
