Our founder Mohammed Akhlak Rauf became a Member of British Empire in recognition of his work in raising awareness of dementia amongst BAME communities, through the award winning Meri Yaadain project he set up. Well done Akhlak!.

Keynote speech on ‘Intercultural care’ at Alzheimer Europe Conference 2019

It was a huge honour to present at this international conference as a keynote speaker in October 2019.  Migrant communities are both transient and settled, they include migrants from within Europe and from outside it.  Social constructs, world views and a host of cultural and social factors were presented.
